Cedarburg Covered Bridge

This painting is of the last covered bridge in the state of Wisconsin. I painted the scene over the course of two mornings when the sun was coming from the northeast. The bridge and fence are made of cedar and the trees that edge the river are also cedar, which feels appropriate.
